Top Score UK is a children’s coaching company which specialises in sports teaching and instruction in curriculum time, as well as after school, breakfast, lunch and holiday clubs.

Coaching Staff
All Top Score staff goes through a 6 hour internal training programme and has attained the following minimum criteria:
- Minimum of 12 Months experience working in a school environment.
- 5 Million Pounds Public Liability Insurance.
- Professional Indemnity Insurance.
- Full Previous Employment History Checks & References.
- NGB Qualified (Level 2 or Level 3).
- Sports Leaders Tutor Course.
- F.A. Level 2 Qualified.
- SAQ Qualified (Multi-skills).
- Ofsted Standards Training.
- Behaviour Management Training.
- Wear a Top Score photo ID badge.
- Are in possession of a first-aid kit at all times.
- Are in possession of mobile phones at all times in case of an emergency.
Staff Responsibilities
- To treat all children fairly and recognise that each is an individual.
- To protect children’s self-esteem and develop them.
- To provide a challenging, relevant, appropriate and fun week.
- To be clear about the rules and use sanctions consistently. No physical punishment will ever be used.
- To be a good role model.
- Not to use any form of physical intervention, e.g. holding, unless it is necessary to prevent personal injury to the child, other children and an adult or serious damage to property.
- Any significant incident of unacceptable behaviour is recorded and the parent informed of the incident on the day.
Parents may be involved in a clear behaviour management procedure:
Initially the Group Coach will try to deal with the situation.
If unsuccessful: Manager will try to deal with the situation, removing the child from the group but having a witness.
If unsuccessful: Parent/carer will be involved. If the parent/carer does not come to collect the child, a note will be given to them requesting that the parent/carer sees the manager in the morning.
If unsuccessful: The manager will consider suspending the child after consultation with Head Office.
